TankRed1070
Hi, very nice model. My congratulations! Nice detailing job. Very interesting cammo and nicely painted. BTW: how did you obtained so nice boundaries between colors? Blue tack? MG on the turret looks like painted with base color only. I guess it needs some finishing with gunmetal. Cheers
nonoece
Thanks for your kind words. Each time I write a new topic, I have some problems with translation. But I don't want to speak only english. I try Google this time. Colors are Tamiya acrylics, boundaries were made with paper mask '"post it" adshesive paper) and airbrush. Camo is made in 4 steps: 1/After applying three tones camouflage, I've airbrushed a little white on middle of each color for giving clearness, and "smoke"color on each angle to figure shadow, specially for sides of turret. This light screen of smoke airbrushed has mixed colors. 2/Then I 've used brown oil diluted with gazoline (that's the reason of this feeeling of mixed colors on boundaries), and vertical line of yellow oil very diluted and wiped fastly. 3/So I've airbrushed very diluted mud acrylic color on sides of chassis and low part of turret. 4/Finally, I've applied dry powder like "pastel" for drawing, not pigment: mainly flesh color, and sand color sometimes. Happy that you like it like this. I try to use translator, please give it proofreading for polish modelers if necessary. Dzięki za miłe słowa. Za każdym razem piszę nowy temat, mam pewne problemy z tłumaczeniem. Ale nie chcę mówić tylko po angielsku. I spróbuj Google tym razem. Kolory są akryle Tamiya, granice zostały wykonane z papieru maskę "Post it" papier adshesive) i airbrush.
