Maszyny te w końcowej fazie Drugiej Wojny światowej wykorzystywane były do zaawansowanego szkolenia lotników US Navy i US Marine Corps, zanim Ci trafili do swoich docelowych dywizjonów Wildcaty FM-2 stacjonowały głównie na mniejszych lotniskowcach eskortowych i bardzo dobrze sprawdzały się w roli myśliwców bombardujących. W tej roli brały udział w lądowaniu na Filipinach i Okinawie, oraz w walkach w Europie. Model wykonany został z zestawu firmy Admiral, będącego przepakiem zestawu firmy AzModel.
