Wszechmocny Lordzie, LIC jest to skrót od słów "Low Intensity Conflict", co oznacza konflikt o niskiej intensywności, czyli np. starcia i walki w mieście gdy przeciwko nam nie występuje regularna armia, tylko bojownicy/partyzantka- taki konflikt asymetryczny. Zestaw LIC ma właśnie ułatwić życie czołgistom podczas tego typu walk. Zestaw LIC na Merkawie 4 składa się z - dodatkowego opancerzenia dna kadłuba (ochrona przed fugasami) - skrajników montowanych na rogach pojazdu ( ułatwiają manewrowanie pojazdem na ulicach) -ochronnych siatkach na optyce ( byle kamień lub pocisk może w praktyce wyłączyć czołg z walki przy uderzeniu w szklane obudowy celowników/wizjerów) -dodatkowych ciężkich fartuchach pancernych osłaniających boki wozu Pakiet LIC może być w każdej chwili zamontowany, lub zdjęty w zależności od potrzeb. Także konfiguracja pakietu na czołgach jest rózna np. czołg z dodatkowym opancerzeniem dna kadłuba, ale bez nowych fartuchów, i na odwrót itp.
