TankRed1070
Hi! Very impressive. It was a very interesting idea to create such combination. Could you say something more specific about the sets used for construction? I guess it was: BTR-D + ZU-23-2 ?? I see that you had also photo-etched tracks. The air defense gun looks really great. Having in mind how ACE short runs looks like I think it is more scratch build than this set ;-) And what about the painting and marking: is it based on the real photos from the recent conflict or is it just general idea? Congratulations!!! Cheers.

Avi
Hi ;) Great Work ! It is a very small object in this scale, but it's a plenty of perfectly built details I promice You a BIG BEER when we will see 'face to face' greetings Avi
adamkijak
How can you people build something so small, keeps amaze me, my hands are shaking enough with1/35 so i cannot imagine anything smaller in them. Anyway looks great, can you please tell us something more about this combination (BTR+Cannon) is this your imagination or is it based on real example. I have notice 2 things, first: i will called sprocket wheel, not sure is this the right name, looks bad, like it doesn't fit and sticks out. Second: left hand side tracks, in the middle, upper part, there is something that looks like damaged part of them. Cheers mate, keep us posted with more great work. nonoece
Hello every body, and thank you for your interest. You are right, there was a job behind this kit, a lot of time in fact. I built it just before summer. It was my second armor kit, first was ICM ural (photos in this gallery) and last is ACE Grizzly (same gallery). So I try every things in order to give it a right look. Specially for ZU23/2 gun. TankRed and Adamkijak, you are right too. you collect true default for the "wheels" and "chain", and I don't succed in solving them. It was due to photoetched part with glue. For colors, I see it on photos on a russian site, same camo and colors, date could be in the last five years, but not in georgian conflict. Gun can be posted in two places: middle and rear, middle seems to be prefered actually, in order to give free way for the upper door, but I have got several photos with my preference. So BTR looks great like this from my point of view. Thanks again, and Avi, have a beer for me: cheers!! Nonoece

Andrzej_LK
I really admire your work. and the base is very creative. good job!
kazio
I don't like modern AFV's, but you did great job! These scratch-built parts give him another dimension of reality. You have achevied most amazing effect, which is typical for well-detailed "72's" - they're looks like "35's" . I think our mate's (except Andrzej-LK) didn't noticed interesting shape of your vigniette base - is it made of bend styrene ("black part")? I'm not enthusiast of weathering the models, but your BTR look's "little bit" clean. P.S. One thing bother's me - why are you build only in 1:72 scale? Is it caused by little room in your apartment/flat? If you so good at so small scale, I wonder how interesting replica's could you build in "my" 1:35... We're waiting for your next project gallery . nonoece
Thanks a lot, you've got a good eye, vigniette base is made of low cost metal photographic support for 9x13 photos, I just put plaster on it. And I really love 72 scale !!! Have a good build time chaps, and continue to fullfil the gallery with good models See you, Nonoece

klima1
English: Amazing work, who would think that ACE kit can be built to such a beautiful model. My full respect. I believe, you, french (in exact translation: frog-eaters, no offence ), have the unusual ability to build ACE models. But there is one thing - isn't the track glued unaligned? Are the photoetched tracks too short?
FAHR
Nice one mate, really nice, but not because it so small and looks fantastic, it's because it looks fantastic, so small and (what is maybe most important) it is ACE Bardzo ładnie stary, ale nie dlatego, że jest taki mały i wygląda świetnie ale dlatego, że wygląda świetnie, jest mały i (może przede wszystkim) to jest ACE.
